Introduction
To what extent do museums and architects have to adopt new media and exhibition forms in order to meet growing expectations and changing visitor behaviour? According to current studies, the average time spent in front of an exhibit is just eleven seconds.
Against this background, it will be shown how architecture exhibitions can reach not only trade visitors emotionally in order to inspire a broad audience for the contents and concepts on display.
Curators, gallery owners, exhibition organisers and exhibition architects report on new trends and classic exhibition formats in the field of tension between documentation, representation, interpretation and staging.
