Introduction
Form follows function: design attitude or marketing strategy? Does minimalism mean to focus on the essentials? Intensive work processes are required to think about things functionally and to let them simply speak to you. Once this goal has been fulfilled, the various levels of meaning can even be switched. Does this design process result in comfort, structural clearness – and does it support the marketing of the final product? Architect, designer and manufacturer face these problems and have to find solutions. Strategies and challenges were discussed at this panel discussion.
