JUST LIVING: Housing Models for the Future
University of Kentucky
Students continue to explore the Framing City methodology evolved in previous studios here. Sequences of methods will transfer the observations and impressions of the students about Berlin from mapping through to interventions. The Kulturforum is the focus of this year’s studio.

The University of Kentucky (UK/CoD) architectural design studio led by Associate Professor Jason Scroggin focused on the development of new housing typologies for the Molkenmarkt district in Berlin.
Each student worked through iterative modeling strategies to consider the potential of the building form to enhance the relationship between its inhabitants and the city.
