Introduction

At this event, the winners of the fourth edition of the Premio Berlino present the projects they worked on during their stay at two leading Berlin architecture offices, Topotek1 and raumlabor.

In order to promote the exchange of experience and cultural knowledge, the Premio Berlino award was founded to encourage the internationalisation and mobility of Italian architecture professionals. Since 2017, the Premio Berlino has offered two young Italian architects in each cycle the opportunity to spend six months in Berlin to deepen their professional knowledge on topics related to reuse and urban renewal. Premio Berlino is supported by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Italian Cultural Institute Berlin.
